Course Description:

E-Learning presented by Apollo O’Neil, a BCMA out of the Clearwater, Florida area. He will be discussing the importance of structural pruning trees in the urban environment using real world examples and field weights to show how the reduction of end weights can drastically reduce the torque that is created on a tree. When the weight of the limb cannot be reduced, bracing and cabling techniques may be required. Some of the techniques that will be described include cabling, bracing, propping, and guying.
